What's New in CADELEC 2009

optimized for
Ribbon Menus

In the new Ribbon Menu the most important commands are visible at first sight in order to make you more productive.

The Pull-Down Menu may be easier to use until you are up to speed if you are new to Cadelec. The Toolbars allow you to have a complete view of all functions in a graphical way.
When you delete, move or copy a symbol, the old connection lines are mended automatically and the new connection lines cut accordingly.
Project revisions are now easy to follow. Cadelec 2009 allows you to automatically make Revision Lists and save pages that have been revised - either automatically or on command. These pages can later be reloaded to go back to a previous status of the project.

With the new extensive batch procedures you can now run selected functions on the whole project or on selected pages. The new batch processor will run in the background and update the whole project in a matter of seconds.
The previous script based batches are still available for you to write your own command sequences. New feature: you can now easily test your script before running it.

The new automatic Text Translation functions allows you to translate your Texts, Multiline Texts and Attribute texts on the whole project, also in a matter of seconds. The new translation engine handles seamlessly text in other glyphs, like the Russian alphabet, or Chinese logograms. The dictionary is in the form of an Excel file that can be easily modified by the user or given to an external translator to add new expressions.

With the new Text Style Manager you can modify and unify with a single command the text styles of Cadelec symbol libraries. You no longer need to edit every single library drawing that you may have imported from different sources or that were created over the years by different people

Element Categories can now be easily modified by you. You can create new categories ad lib, rename them, change their properties, such as icons, etc.
